Collection and Processing of Personal Data

When visiting our website for informational purposes only, i.e. if you do not actively provide us with personal data, we collect only those personal data that your browser transmits to our servers for technical reasons. When you view our website, we collect the following data, which are technically necessary to display the website and to ensure stability and security (pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), including traceability in the event of errors and sustainable error resolution:

  • Visited websites
  • Date and time of access
  • Amount of data transferred (in bytes)
  • Referring website (source/link from which you accessed our site)
  • Browser type, language, and version

Log files are created for this purpose. The collected data are used to prevent and remedy unlawful use of the website content, to improve the website, and for statistical analysis.

Further personal data such as your name, address, telephone number, or email address are not collected unless you voluntarily and actively provide such information in designated areas (e.g. newsletter registration, inquiries via a contact form, or other specific form fields or registration interfaces). The personal data you provide will be processed exclusively for the purpose of handling your request or responding to your inquiry. Such data will generally not be transferred to third parties not mentioned.

Web Analytics – Matomo

This website uses Matomo, an open-source, self-hosted web analytics software to collect anonymous usage data.

Visitor behavior data are collected to identify potential issues such as missing pages, search engine problems, or unpopular pages. Once processed (e.g. number of visitors viewing error pages or only one page), Matomo generates reports for the website operator to enable appropriate responses (e.g. layout changes, new content).

Matomo processes the following data:

  • Cookies
  • Anonymized IP addresses (last 2 bytes removed, e.g. 198.51.0.0 instead of 198.51.100.54)
  • Pseudonymized location data (based on anonymized IP address)
  • Date and time
  • Title of the accessed page
  • URL of the accessed page
  • URL of the accessed page
  • Screen resolution
  • Local time
  • Clicked and downloaded files
  • External links
  • Page load time
  • Country, region, city (low accuracy due to IP anonymization)
  • Main browser language
  • Browser user agent
  • Interactions with forms (excluding content).

Contact via Email, Mail, Telephone or Fax

If you contact us, the data you provide (name, address, telephone number, email address, and any case-related information) will be stored to answer your questions, process your request efficiently, and contact you again if necessary.

Such data will be deleted if no contractual relationship is established and once storage is no longer required, or processing will be restricted to the legally required minimum if statutory retention obligations apply. In the event of a contract being concluded, the privacy policy contained in the contract shall apply.

Data Retention, Access and Security

No other persons or companies not explicitly named in this privacy policy have access to your data.

Personal data collected or disclosed are protected against unauthorized access through encrypted transmission, access-protected and externally inaccessible storage, and physical security measures for servers. These safeguards are continuously updated in line with technological developments and include SSL encryption, regular software and hardware updates, continuous server monitoring, and backup management by our service provider.

Physical security measures are implemented by our service provider and may be viewed—where disclosure does not compromise system security—at the relevant (https://www.world4you.com/).

Data collected as a result of your visit to our website are stored for a maximum period of 21 days unless a more specific retention period is stated elsewhere in this policy, after which they are automatically deleted.

Data provided in connection with newsletter registration, contact forms, or other registration interfaces are stored only as long as necessary to fulfill the respective purpose and are deleted thereafter. If processing continues, it is restricted to the necessary minimum. In the event of a contract conclusion, the contractual privacy policy applies.

Log Files

The web servers operated or rented by World4You Internet Services GmbH store log files documenting access to individual web pages with date, time, and IP address. These log files are stored for a maximum of 21 days and then deleted. Customers receive anonymized daily access statistics without detailed information.
